“ I have been here before many years ago, and left a review that I have now deleted! 2 star is far from correct these days! I visited Allegria today for the second or third time in the past few months and what an amazing difference from before. I had booked for 7pm this evening, but ended up freeing up my day far earlier. I called and asked if I could change my reservation to asap! They were more than happy to accommodate the change. On arrival my friend and I were able to select the table of our choosing and were quickly approached by a server to order our drinks. The service throughout was fantastic with all servers seeming calm and only too happy to accommodate any needs. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. No stodge.. no grease... Just well cooked Italian fair! On finishing I was even able to order a lovely golden grapa to settle my stomach! I will mention Tibi, the lovely server who gave us this lovely experience! Can't thank you enough! ”

“ What a fantastic restaurant! I took my Mum out for some dinner here and it was just an amazing experience. I got the pizza and my Mum got lasagna and both dishes were perfect, dessert was just as tasty. Waitress was really friendly, made us feel so welcome. “ Wow, what a place. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service first class. The food smelt and tasted amazing. I had the Risotto with prawns, mussels, and clams.. Oh my god, it was the best tasting Risotto I have ever tasted. My fiance had the seafood pizza, something he had never tried before, and he wasn't disappointed. We both had affogato la cafe for desserts but forgot to take a before photo. I assure you, without a shadow of a doubt, it was absolutely delicious. If you are ever up this way in Largs, you have to eat here. But be warned, you must book a table as it's a very popular place. ”
